We provide comprehensive legal and tax advice in IT law, tech law, data protection, and the protection and transfer of intellectual property rights (trademarks, copyrights, registered and unregistered intellectual property rights).
In the field of IT law, we offer legal and tax advice on contractual documentation for software development, servicing, and licensing. Our lawyers and tax advisors are highly experienced in setting up tax structures that optimize software development and licensing revenues. We also provide comprehensive legal advice on the regulation of personal data processing.
We are one of the few in Slovakia to provide comprehensive tax and legal advice for companies, services, and products using AI and blockchain technology. We offer advisory services in regulation and taxation of cryptocurrencies, setting up and establishing fund structures investing in virtual currencies, as well as in regulatory analysis, design, and implementation of financing structures for companies, using the tokenization of services, tangible and intangible assets (ICO, UTO, STO).
In 2019, we organized our first conference aimed at IT companies. In November 2022, we held a unique two-day convention for IT, digital, and tech companies. We addressed a selection of legal and tax topics relevant to the IT, digital, and tech segments, including tax and tax optimization, “employing self-employed persons”, investor entry, setting up a holding company, automated accounting, ESOP structures, and scaling the business abroad. We also regularly publish, blog, and give interviews on IT matters. We provide training courses and webinars – for example, this, this, or this.
We´ve come out of the 2022 “Law Firm of the Year” awards as a Highly Recommended Law Firm for Telecommunications, IT Law, and a Recommended Law Firm for IP.
In IT & tech law, data protection, and IP, we primarily advise on:
